Our client a leading IT Solutions provider are seeking to recruit a Sparx Repository Manager and you will bring the below skill set:
All Data Architecture artefacts are created and managed within the SPARX Enterprise Data Architecture Repository and leverage existing Enterprise Content to support consistent Data Architecture design and implementation (including Enterprise Data Model, Catalogues etc.) which are made available to Architects and Business Analysts.
The Sparx Repository Manager supports Data Architecture and Enterprise and Portfolio delivery by maintaining the central repository for data architecture products.
This includes developing and maintaining the repository, producing reports and quality assuring products developed by users of the repository.
The role also manages the corresponding SharePoint site by publishing approved artefacts.

• Administrates and manages the existing Enterprise Data Architecture Repository (SPARX) used for Data Architecture Enterprise and Programme / Project Delivery
  * Administrates and manages the Data Architecture SharePoint environment used for publication and sharing of Defra Data Architecture guidance, standards, patterns and policies
  * Manages alignment/integration of key data (e.g., Business Systems Application Catalogue) across other Enterprise Services (e.g., ServiceNow, iServer).
  * Manages/plans/undertakes configuration of the SPARX Enterprise Architecture Repository to support all Data Architecture Enterprise and Programme / Project design and delivery. Facilitates and manages core SPARX software upgrades where required.
  * Manages/plans/undertakes configuration and content management of the DDTS Data Architecture SharePoint service.
  * Supports the Chief Data Architect in the onboarding and induction of new Data Architecture resources and induction of users of SPARX Enterprise Data Architecture Repository

• Advanced knowledge of Sparx EA
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely to onboard new members of the team and convey how they should work in the repository
• Understands different modelling notations (UML, Dimensional, NoSQL, Data Vault, ORM, Barker Notation)
• Data profiling, data lineage and data model governance

Understands Meta data, reference data, transactional data and master data - able to identify and process meta data, reference data, transactional data and master data from the systems landscape
Experience in ServiceNow, iServer, Visio, Business Process Modelling
Experience of Database technologies - Oracle, SQL server, PostGresSQL is desirable
Knowledge of ETL tools - Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS), Informatica Power Centre, Pentaho Data Integration, programming language SQL/T-SQL scripts, procedures and functions.
Reporting tools - To develop dashboards Power BI, QlikView / Qlik Sense, Pentaho Reporting
Cloud Environments - Amazon Web Services(AWS), Microsoft Azure
